Each year, Communica-ers rally around a local charity and make personal donations during the holidays. This year, when contacting local organizations to identify needs, we learned there was a common thread of a high demand for basic necessities. So, we chose to expand our focus to help support multiple charities and fire up some friendly competition between the downstairs and upstairs offices.

Employees were asked to donate new hygiene products and new or gently used clothing. The collection was expanded beyond the holidays and together we were able to gather 259 items. The local charities Communica was able to serve include, YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter, Family and Childhood Abuse Prevention Center, The Salvation Army Manor House/Emergency Shelter and St. Pauls Community Center.
